The idea of Raising Ralph began with a conversation with other moms with children on the spectrum. We all saw the gaps in available information about how to treat an autism diagnosis, programs and services we needed for our kids, and most of all, the gaps and areas left unaddressed by special education.
The Raising Ralph Foundation is here to serve our autism community by promoting awareness and educating the community about autism. It is our mission to provide support to parents and caregivers to those who are caring for a child on the autism spectrum. Raising Ralph will host fairs, informational sessions and fundraisers to support public school autism programs and bring awareness to educate our community
Our Vision
The idea of Raising Ralph began with a conversation with other moms with children on the spectrum. The founder of Raising Ralph, Inc. did what any fearless mother would do: set out to create change and make the world a more bearable place for her son, every day. The Raising Ralph team of mothers all have a special bond with autism -- our sons all live on the spectrum. We all want these young men to have independence and live life to fullest. We do not let autism define who our children are -- it's just a small, sometimes misunderstood, piece of them. Together we want to raise awareness, shatter the stigma of autism and provide support to families just like ours.
